Colin is the founder and Owner/Managing Director of Craig Tilly Search (CTS). Recognised as leaders in the placement of partners, CTS is a specialist legal search consultancy advising law firms on their strategic development and senior level appointments.
Colin is a highly accredited recruitment professional with over twenty years' spent in consultancy and recruitment, with a focus on the legal profession. Covering all areas of legal expertise, working with lawyers and Management at all levels on search, selection and contingent projects on behalf of leading UK and US law firms; Colin’s overriding ambition is to achieve sustained growth for clients and long term career progression for candidates. The foundation of his success is a detailed market knowledge combined with a comprehensive methodology.
Over the past 20 years Colin has been accredited with placing some of the most high profile partners and teams across multiple practice disciplines in the UK, Europe and Internationally. Alison has been specialising in the recruitment of lawyers into private practice and in-house for over 25 years. She has an extensive network of contacts at all levels of seniority, working on a range of assignments across a range of sector expertise in London, throughout the UK and internationally.
In addition to her track record in recruitment, Alison advises clients on strategic matters, including mergers and the intricacies of lateral team hires. Her experience outside of private practice has involved work on senior roles, both legal and commercial with a focus on the media, sport and entertainment industries.
Noreen qualified as an Irish solicitor at Sheridan & Co Solicitors where she worked for 7 years in private practice specialising in real estate and civil litigation. Noreen was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales in 2014 and entered legal recruitment in September 2014. Noreen now focuses on the placement of partners in the corporate, finance and the real estate sectors.

For over 20 years Andrew has developed and maintained relationships around a core value system based on a comprehensive methodology, detailed market knowledge and a consultative proposition that helps clients source the best people across the region on all levels of search and selection.
In 1994 Andrew Lawson founded Wellington & Associates K.K. in Tokyo. Andrew’s practice originally focused on investment banking and risk, however, after Barings Bank collapsed in 1995 legal searches became a top priority in law firms, securities and banking across Asia. Andrew has become a highly respected legal and compliance recruitment professional in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore.
It was in 1995 that Wellington opened the Hong Kong office, and continues to develop and nurture relationships and lead practice teams in investment banking, commodities, private equity and asset management across Asia. Andrew is a passionate supporter of veterans of all countries, having served in the United States Marine Corp and the United States Army.
His favorite charity is Room to Read.
John has spent over twenty five years in recruitment and consultancy with a particular focus on lawyers, working both in private practice and the wider in-house markets.
A graduate of Downing College, Cambridge, John commenced work at one of the leading City firms before leaving to enter legal recruitment. Whether working with established experts in helping to augment existing teams or building fresh capability in complementary areas of expertise, he has an extensive contact base and a proven track record of successful delivery.
John is a keen sportsman with a bias towards rugby. A Cambridge rugby Blue, he went on to play for several years at Wasps and latterly as captain of Richmond. He was also in the England U19, 23s and ‘Classicals’ squads and the London Division. John now spends his time coaching youth rugby.
Former Senior Partner and Head of Risk at Lawrence Graham
Bill brings forty years experience of the legal marketplace to our business. As a practising solicitor he was a commercial litigator involved in many high profile cases in the financial services sector as well as acting for several clients in the sporting and educational sectors. He served for 13 years first as managing then senior partner of Lawrence Graham and his last 5 years as a partner saw him acting as the firm’s Head of Risk and Compliance until he retired as a partner in January 2013. He continues to act as a consultant to the firm on risk management and professional standards matters.
Bill has developed significant experience of the professional indemnity insurance market and serves as a consultant to Lockton Companies LLP, part of the Lockton Companies group, the largest privately owned insurance broker in the world. He is also a non-executive director of the Solicitors Indemnity Mutual Insurance Association which is now in run off.
Bill is a keen sportsman and has held positions with several sports governing bodies whilst he has been or remains a trustee of a range educational charities.
